Urban History Museum
The Government House, which was built on the hill called the castle between 1904-1906, was used as the government house until 19 January 1976. It became unusable as a result of a fire that broke out on this date. Restoration works started in 2000 by the Ministry of Culture and it was completed in 2006 and opened as the City History Museum. The City History Museum is a cultural unit established to provide all kinds of information, documents, goods, visual materials, audio and video recordings and to organize temporary and permanent exhibitions based on these data.
