Gala Lake National Park
Gala Lake National Park, the area covering Gala and Pamuklu lakes located between Enez and İpsala Districts has been designated as "Gala Lake National Park" with the decision of the Council of Ministers numbered 2005/8547 published in the Official Gazette dated 5 March 2005. Containing wetland, lake and forest ecosystems and various living species living in these ecosystems, existence of 111 bird species, endangered or rare species, especially crested pelican (Pelecanus crispus), common ibis (Plegads falcinellus) and small cormorant (Phalac rocorox pygmeus) ) constitutes its resource values.
