Geben Valley National Park
Geben Valley National Park is located on the Anatolian Cross, an important ecological corridor that serves as a transition zone between the Irano-Turanian and Mediterranean regions in terms of phytogeography. Home to 603 plant species, 83 of which are endemic, Geben Valley National Park stands out with its rich vegetation and diverse wildlife. It possesses a unique ecosystem with impressive natural assets. Among these resources, Kayranlı Mountain, appearing as if formed from a single rock, gives the region a distinctive silhouette. The Kırksu Springs and Karagöl Karstic Lake, home to bird species such as cranes, storks, and coots, are important destinations for ecotourism enthusiasts. The Söğütovası Travers Cave, 272 meters long with two separate entrances and exits, as well as historical structures from the Roman period such as Meryemçil Castle, Kızıl Castle, and the Roman Baths, add further value to the region.
