According to a study conducted in 1982, Yozgat Çamlık National Park hosts a 400-500 year old Black Pine species called Caucasian Pine (Pinus nigra Arn. Subsp. Pallasiana). This pine species is only found in Çamlık in Turkey and can still produce seeds. In addition, a total of 212 plant species in 43 families and 144 genera live in Çamlık, and there are nearly 30 endemic species among them. Therefore, Yozgat Çamlık also has botanical tourism potential. In addition to the known animal species of Central Anatolia, Golden Eagles, known as White Eagles, which are unique to America, were seen in Çamlık National Park until 1992. Çamlık National Park; It was declared a national park in order to protect and promote the nearly 30 endemic plant species, the American White Eagle and the Black Pine species found only in Çamlık, to be suitable for social, cultural and tourism activities, and especially to meet the outdoor recreation and resting needs of its immediate surroundings.
