Çınarsuyu Nature Park

Çınarsuyu Nature Park is a recreation and camping area located in Ünye district within the borders of Ordu province. It is located on the shore of the Ünye-Terme highway, 10 kilometers from the town of Ünye. The forest area, which was declared a "nature park" in 2011, covers an area of approximately seven hectares.

Çınarsuy Nature Park is surrounded by the Black Sea in the north, the Samsun-Ordu highway in the south, Atmaca Stream in the west and Çınarsuyu Stream in the east. The name of the park "Çınarsuyu" comes from this Çınarsuyu Stream, which flows through the current nature park and flows into the Black Sea. The park area was turned into a garbage dump by the Ünye Municipality in the 1970s. This area was afforested in the early 1980s and the mud that emerged during the rehabilitation of the Tabakhane Stream passing through the city of Ünye was poured into this afforestation area. After the trees grew, this coastal area became attractive and was organized as a park by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
