Fatih Fountain Nature Park

Fatih Fountain Nature Park is a nature park located in the Eyüpsultan district of Istanbul.

Fatih Fountain Nature Park is located within the Belgrad Forest in Eyüp. It is located approximately 6 kilometers (3.7 mi) west of Bahçeköy and east of Kemerburgaz. The region, which was declared a nature park by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry in 2011, is one of the nine nature parks within the Belgrade Forest. The protected area is named "Fatih Fountain" in honor of the Ottoman Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror (1444-1446 and 1451-1481). This nature park covers approximately 29.5 hectares (73 acres).

Although Fatih Fountain Nature Park is under protection by the General Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks under the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Turkey, the protection of the park is also among the duties of the Eyüpsultan district municipality, as stated in the first paragraph of Article 7 of the Metropolitan Municipality Law No. 5216.
