Fatih Sultan Mehmet Nature Park
Fatih Sultan Mehmet Nature Park is a nature park located in the Sarıyer district of Istanbul.
Fatih Sultan Mehmet Nature Park is located within the scope of Sarıyer's systems and Belgrad Forest. It is located on an area of 111.85 hectares (276.4 acres).[2] It was established in 2011 by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. The protected area was named after the Ottoman sultan Mehmed the Conqueror (1444-1446, 1451-1481), who conquered Istanbul in 1453.
The nature park offers daily outdoor recreation activities for its management. There are playgrounds for children. The pond seepage area is avoided for safety reasons. There is no entry for visitors and vehicles.
