Samsun Vezirköprü Şahinkaya Canyon
Şahinkaya Canyon is a canyon located in the Vezirköprü district of Samsun. Şahinkaya Canyon, which is the deepest point of Altınkaya Dam and is Turkey's second largest canyon after Ulubey Canyon, is approximately 1500 meters long and 324 meters high, and was declared a national tourism region in 2012 and a nature park was built in 2015. The canyon, which is one of the tourism spots of Samsun and can be visited with the Samsunum-3 ship, also hosts Falcon Fest, Turkey's first extreme sports festival.
