Ardeşen Tunca Natural Park
Tunca Valley Nature Park is a nature park located within the borders of Ardeşen district of Rize.It was declared a nature park by the Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs on July 11, 2013.Tunca Valley Nature Park is located in Ardeşen district of Rize. It covers an area of 4.082 Ha. The district is 46 kilometers (29 mi) from Rize city center.The road from Nolaşkari in the north of the Natural Park to the Intor Glacier Lake in the east of the Natural Park and the road from Nolaşkari to the Göleteği Glacier area in the south of the Natural Park form a very ideal hiking trail for nature walks with its forest, alpine-sup-albin meadows. Some other tree and shrub species growing on rocky ground under the forest include Betula medwedewii, Sambucus niğre, Acer platanoides, Rhododendron luteum and Rhododenron smyrnovii, Quercus ponticum and Vaccinium arctostaphyllos, and tall herbaceous plants and especially ferns.
