Blue Throat Canyon

Blue Defile, the name of a natural wonder valley where Çarşamba River stretches to the south of Avdan Neighborhood in Akören District. This defile is also called the Blue Canyon, due to the enormously high rocks lined up on both sides. Picturesque scenes are formed in the canyon, as the Çarşamba River, whose water level decreases and increases according to the precipitation, and Çarşamba Canal coming from the Lake Beyşehir, merges here and flows to the Konya Plain.
