Göldağı Nature Park

It was registered as a Nature Park on 11.07.2011. Its area is 13.64 ha; The area is located in the Western Black Sea Region of the Black Sea Region, within the boundaries of Göldağı locality of the Central district of Zonguldak Province. There is a Recreation Area Development Plan approved in December 2004. The 5 km stabilized road is reached by leaving the 17th km of the Zonguldak-Ankara highway's arrival route from Zonguldak. Although the road standard decreases after the highway junction, transportation is comfortable. It is 22 km from the center of Zonguldak, 43 km from Çaycuma District and 40 km from Devrek District. Broad-leaved trees form the dominant elements of the forest. These include primarily beech (Fagus orientalis), hornbeam (Carpinus betulus) and oak species (Quercus sp). In the lower layer, there are wild rose, blackberry and fern, nettle, elderberry species and various meadow grasses.
