Gümüldür Nature Park

Although Gümüldür Nature Park is located by the sea, it is surrounded by greenery. There is also tent accommodation in the nature park. In addition to swimming on the beach, by looking carefully at the open waters, the passage of shearwaters (Puffinus yelkouan) can be easily observed. In addition, thanks to the forest area, bird species such as warblers (Phylloscopus collybita), finches (Fringilla coelebs), great tits (Parus major), doves (Streptopelia decaocto) and sparrows (Passer domesticus) can also be seen. The Mediterranean monk seal (Monachus monachus), a marine mammal, also survives in these waters. The area is located within the borders of Doğanbey Coastal Important Natural Area (KBA). Dwarf maquis shrubs are the dominant vegetation within the KBA.
