Güzeldere Waterfall Natural Park

Güzeldere Waterfall Nature Park is a nature park declared in 2011 on an area of 22.76 hectares, within the borders of Güzeldere village in Düzce province, Gölyaka district. Bıçkı Stream passing through Gölyaka district forms a waterfall pouring from 130 meters in Güzeldere Village. Elmacık Mountain draws attention with the density of vegetation on the area. Pürenli Plateau is located at the top of the nature park, and Lake Efteni Wildlife Development Area is located at the bottom. In broad-leaved humid forests, the dominant species is beech. Hornbeam, oak, linden and chestnut trees are other species that make up the forest. Rhododendron, black berry, blackberry and ivy form the forest flora around the waterfall. Deer, roe deer, wild boar, bear, fox, jackal, squirrel and marten live in the forest area. Trout is available in Bıçkı Stream.
