Kirazlıbent Nature Park

Kirazlıbent Nature Park is a nature park located in the Eyüpsultan district of Istanbul. Kirazlıbent Nature Park is located within the Belgrade Forest in Eyüpsultan. It is approximately 6 km (3.7 mi) west of Bahçeköy and east of Kemerburgaz. The region, which was declared a nature park by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry in 2011, is one of the nine nature parks within the Belgrade Forest. It covers an area of 1,914 hectares (4,730 acres). The region was named after the Ottoman Sultan II. It was named after the Kirazlıbent dam built on Kirazlı Stream in 1818 by Mahmud (1808-1839). The nature park offers its visitors outdoor recreational activities such as picnics, hiking and cycling. There are playgrounds for children. There is an entrance fee for visitors and vehicles.
