Kocakoru Nature Park
Kocakoru Forest, located within the borders of Taraşçı District of Seydişehir district, was registered as "Kocakoru Forest Nature Park" in 1998 due to its scenery and richness of flora. The region, which is very rich in flora, has a vegetation called the Steppe Forest, which is generally located on the north-facing foothills of the Taurus Mountains. According to the researches, nearly 40 mammal species, 38 bird, 21 amphibian and reptile species live in Kocakoru Nature Park, which is densely populated with larch, fir, oak and juniper trees and is home to many songbirds and raptors.
There are three openings in Kocakoru Nature Park, called Hacı Hasan Ouğu Gudal and Küçük Oluk, which are suitable for the use of citizens. Social areas such as rain shelter, fountain, water tank and toilet have been built here, and these areas are used by visitors who come for picnics on weekends. Kocakoru Nature Park is a natural wonder that nature lovers and cyclists visit in groups.
