Demirci Wool Carpet
Carpet making in Demirci district of Manisa has been an active source of livelihood for centuries. Carpet making, which was brought to Anatolia by the Turks from Central Asia, was further improved by the Seljuk Dynasty and transmitted to all parts of Anatolia and in the meantime brought to Demirci.
