Our fundamental mission is to innovate until our local products become indispensable flavors in contemporary eating habits, while remaining principled and ambitious. The Büyükbayraktar brothers, as a family, have been producing pestil, köme, and pekmez, which are indispensable traditional foods of the winter months, on a household scale in Gümüşhane since 1950. In 1974, they expanded their production to an industrial scale, spread production over 12 months, and began manufacturing under the KRAL brand. Turkey and the world have come to recognize these products under the Kral brand. By 2000, the production of these traditional foods had moved to modern facilities. The company was the first in our country to export these products. Kaya Büyükbayraktar has established many businesses operating in this sector in our province and country, and the fame of pestil and köme has grown rapidly. As the KRAL family, while increasing capacity to meet growing demand, they have placed the KRAL brand in A-class and elite sales points. On the other hand, they have obtained ISO 9001, HACCP certificates, and Halal Certification, entering thousands of sales points with their registered new brands, thereby increasing their brand power.

The company continues on its path with the goal of “delivering natural products from nature to consumers without altering them,” adding chocolate spread, fruit jams, herbal and fruit teas, Turkish delight, halva, and baklava to its product range.
