Cephanelik
It is said that this historical building, which is perhaps one of the most striking among the structures of Trabzon, was built during the reign of Sultan Abdulhamit in 1887/1888 and was used as an arsenal during the Russian occupation of Trabzon in 1916-1918. Although its structure deteriorated due to a big explosion on 9 July 1919, it was later restored and serves as a restaurant and hotel today.
