Husrev Restaurant

Hacı Abdullah Hüsrev was born in 1904 in Çayeli.  He was engaged in farming, agriculture and animal husbandry.  He planted the seeds of the tea that we serve in our restaurants today in Çayeli / Kuspa Hill. In 1928, he opened a grocery store. Hacı Fahri Hüsrev was born in 1936. He worked at various levels, starting as a dishwasher in the cafeteria of Istanbul Technical University. In 1958, he returned to Çayeli and transformed the grocery store opened by his father into a breakfast shop under the name of “Clean Milk House”.Hacı Fahri Hüsrev opened his first real shop under Çayeli Municipality. The name of his restaurant was “Temiz Köfte Salonu”.   While gathering the interest and appreciation of the local people with his meatballs here, he discovered the sugar bean during his Erzurum / Ispir trip and brought it to his shop. The dried beans, which he cooked completely with his own recipe, went beyond the borders of Çayeli and attracted the attention and appreciation of guests from all over the world. The favorite food of this shop was now dried beans. So much so that; the dried beans he cooked would come to the present day as Çayeli dried beans. For Fahri Hüsrev, who had difficulty in hosting his guests coming from long distances, it was already time to move to a bigger place.

“Our biggest goal is to carry our flavors to the future by developing our flavors without breaking the tradition and to continue our brand for generations. We are grateful to our guests who continue to be with us on this journey. ”
