Of breath, rice, tea and foxes: Inari The symbol of fertility and success… Protector of blacksmiths, warriors and rice warehouses… According to legend, Inari appears either as a charming woman or a white female fox… Only those who believe in the legend can identify what they see as Inari. Think of the odds of catching a glimpse of a pure white fox; it would not be any ordinary fox that you would run into in the wild. She is so rare and precious that luck is believed to stay by your side forever afterwards if you ever do come across her. In fact, more than a third of the Shinto temples in Japan are dedicated to her. Inner Omakase is named after this legend that is still famous is this day and time.
