With its magnificent Bosphorus view and seaside location, the old Rumelihisarı Ferry Pier building, which belongs to the Turkish Maritime Enterprises, has been a favorite place of Istanbulites for a long time. The sea front of the restaurant is completely glass, and you can enjoy the magnificent Bosphorus view from where you sit. In nice weather, the windows in front of the hall open and the hall becomes one with the sea. There is an American bar in the corner inside the hall. You can have an aperitif before the meal. In the section where all kinds of drinks are available, you can also find various cigars for cigar lovers. Iskele restaurant owes its fame to its delicious appetizers and fish dishes. Whether you prefer specialties always prepared with fresh seasonal fish or just grilled or fried fish, you can trust all the delicacies they prepare here. For example, Sea Bass with tomato sauce or creamy mushroom sauce is one of the best examples of steamed fish cooked according to a special recipe, or if you are curious, try the special Salted Sea Bass made with salt. Before the fish, there are various cold appetizers and hot appetizers. However, the biggest danger is that you will lose your appetite by trying them all at once. Among the cold appetizers, Lakerda, Shrimp Cocktail, Fish eggs, Smoked Fish, Marinated Sea Bass with Mustard Sauce, Mackerel Special, Eggplant Salad, Herb varieties (Sea Blackberry, Radika) and Cheese varieties are among the best choices you can make at the beginning. Grilled Squid with butter and garlic sauce, Seafood pancakes with cheese in cream sauce, Hot stewing, Calamari, Fried Mussels, Shrimp Casserole, Jumbo Shrimp, Fish Balls, Tomato, Pepper and Mushroom, Fener Kavurma made with optional Shrimp added after the cold appetizers and right after the fish. There will be intermediate heats that you will have difficulty doing at first. After your meal, you can try the wonderful Chocolate Soufflé, Ekmek Kadayıf, Şekerpare, Quince, Zucchini and homemade Baklava to sweeten your mouth.
