Nicole Restaurant
This restaurant takes its name from Agnés Marthe Nicole, one of the Franciscan nuns who lived in this building in the early 1900s. As you can see, the building, which has undergone major renovations, is accessed through a series of narrow roads. Modern works of art welcome you at the entrance. On the top floor, the elegance and luxury of the place is carried even higher. The view of the old city from here is magnificent. Both the exquisite food and the discerning clientele show that this fine restaurant is of the highest caliber. The chef puts a new twist on traditional recipes by adding subtle nuances. Take, for example, dolma, a typical stuffed vegetable dish to which smoked yoghurt is added to bring a new twist to familiar flavors. Then there are Middle Eastern spices that add an extra dimension to the classic, reduced-concentration red wine served alongside tender lamb. Here creativity emerges with respect and a sense of purpose.
