Penbe İnn Restaurant

Penbe Han was built between 1481-1512 by Beyazıt II, son of Fatih Sultan Mehmet Han, one of the sultans of the rising period of the Ottoman Empire. Penbe means cotton in Persian. Since cotton was traded in the inn, it took the name Penbe. Its other name is Balkapanı. It is known that the inn took this name because it was used for honey trade.As of today, it is used as a restaurant where local dishes are served with 6 different rooms, 500 m2 open area, 150 m2 closed area. Kastamonu Local Dishes, which are on the menu of our restaurant, are prepared in accordance with the recipes brought by thousands of years of culture and presented to you with a local presentation.
