Rüştü Bakery
Rüştü's Bakery is one of those unique places that has been around since 1920, witnessing many wars and even rationed sales, and is still operating today. This historic bakery has been serving customers for four generations.
Don't assume that because it's a bakery, it only sells bread; it also offers delicious flatbreads. When you add wonderful Trabzon butter to the meat, cheese, and kaşar flatbreads, you get an appetizing sight. Even the smell while they are being made makes you hungry.
The bakery opens at 5 a.m. every morning, and the flour, water, and yeast are immediately prepared to start making bread. Master Ibrahim also begins baking the bread there. For 12 years, Master Ibrahim has been coming at 5 a.m. every morning to carefully bake his bread, leaving us to enjoy it and delight our palates.
Just imagine, the bread is so delicious that many Turks living in Europe come and buy it themselves to take home. Even people living in other provinces in Turkey stop by once a week to buy bread to take home, and they keep coming back every week to buy more.
