Taş Fabrika Cafe&Restaurant

Restaurant Cafe / Şehzadeler, Turkiye, Aegean, Manisa

Taş Fabrika Cafe&Restaurant

It was established as a pasta and flour factory by a Greek-origin merchant in 1890 and has been the largest pasta and flour factory in the Balkans for many years.

After the end of the Balkan War, Taşfabrika, which became the property of the Yaralı family in 1914, was purchased by the Giritligil family in 1948 and transformed into a cotton gin, one of the most important economic activities of its time, in 1950. It was used as a warehouse for a while after 1986.

Taşfabrika, which was restored in accordance with its original form between 2006-2008, was opened in 2014 as Taş Fabrika Café & Restaurant, taking on the image of 1890 and carrying the traces of the past to the present.
