During his captivity, he was made a doctor. The war ends, with the success of the Turkish Grand National Assembly in the Treaty of Lausanne, Karaağaç remains the land of young Turkey. However, returning to Edirne after the war, Dr. Mehmet Bahattin Öğütmen encounters a painting very different from the one he left; poverty and a devastated Edirne. Likewise, the condition of the mansion he saw before the war. The mansion is now in the hands of the destroyer, with the former owner leaving the country through the exchange. Dr. Mehmet Bahattin Öğütmen buys the mansion from the destroyer and repairs it, in a sense, saves it from death and turns it into a home for his family. Their spiritual daughter, Dr. They live here for years with their crowded family members, including Saadet Yardimci and retired Topkapi Palace Manager Filiz Cagman, and collect good memories. After many years, Dr. The mansion that hosted Saadet Yardim was transferred to the Edirne Governor's Office and served as a restaurant for a while by being rented. The fate of the abandoned mansion changes for the second time when Suat and Nihat Öztürk, one of the industrialist families of Edirne, pass by the mansion one evening and become amazed and learn that it is for sale. They take over the mansion with the decision made within three days. The mansion, which has been empty for almost 10 years, goes through a long maintenance and repair process that is careful to stay true to its original. On June 1, 2016, it opens its doors to its guests with the name "Tulipa", inspired by the tulip, the symbol of Edirne. Tulipa, which consists of two sections, a restaurant and a mansion, serves with the mansion menu, which includes flavors prepared using Ottoman cuisine recipes, with its special ambiance and quality focus, with the ideal of contributing to the value that Edirne deserves.
