Atlıhan Handicrafts Bazaar
Atlıhan Handicrafts Bazaar, which is located within the Urban Site of the Odunpazarı district of Eskişehir; It was built by Takattin Bey in the 1850s for the accommodation of market traders, travelers and villagers from the surrounding villages, towns and cities, both for themselves and their animals. Atlıhan becomes a place where the people of the region gather, where the entire social, political and economic agenda of the period is formed, as it is a place where people can rest and stay, take care of animals and have a tea house. Over time, it was known as the Inn, the Tavafçı Inn, and the Odunpazarı Inn. Especially after the second half of the 20th century, the inn lost its former function and turned into dereliction and ruin. The inn was rebuilt under the name Atlıhan by the Odunpazarı Municipality in 2006 as part of the Odunpazarı Houses Keeping Project, taking into account its original architecture. Located on an area of 768 square meters, the inn is a structure that also includes traditional architectural elements. In Atlıhan, which consists of two floors, the ground and the first floor, other traditional handicraft products can be seen in the Bazaar, where our handicrafts are produced, displayed and sold with 25 workshops. It was put into service by Odunpazarı Municipality.
