Bedesten Bazaar
There are 40 streets and 2687 shops in the Bedesten Bazaar, reflecting the historical texture of Konya. In the historical Bedesten, where Kapu Mosque and Aziziye Mosque are located, you can stroll and shop in the streets where Mevlana visited. Bedesten, where mainly clothing, home textiles and accessories are found, is a frequent destination especially for couples preparing for weddings and their families.
Almost all of the shopkeepers of the bazaar participate in this historical texture as they practice the profession inherited from their fathers and grandfathers. There are shops in the bazaar where traditional and cultural products are sold instead of brand products that are seen everywhere.
