Firdevs Bey Bedesten

It was built in 1561 by Firdevs Bey, the Governor of Isparta at the time, to provide income for Mimar Sinan Mosque. This building, which carries the style of Mimar Sinan, was made of smooth cut chamfers, a type of stone belonging to Isparta. The bedesten extends in the north-south direction and has entrances from both directions. The lead-lined barrel vault roof was repaired in 1967, covered with a wooden roof and put into service with the shops inside. In 2009, internal and external restoration was carried out by the Regional Directorate of Foundations.
