Gonen Grand Bazaar
The Neighborhood Market, which has been established since the 1970s, is the largest market in the bay. It consists of three large sections, spread over an area of 4 thousand square meters, which can be considered regular compared to other bazaars, and spread over an area of 700 tradesmen. The city, which is beautiful with the market held in the center of Ayvalık on Thursdays, is a favorite of not only local people, but also western travelers and Greeks coming from the neighboring island of Lesbos.
