Historical Çadırcı Bath

Çadırcı Hamam is one of the most intact surviving Ottoman structures in Old Erzincan. The bathhouse is entered through two doors on the east side. Two inscriptions are located on each door. The main door leads to a large cold room (congregational area). From there, a small warm room leads to the hot room, which has four iwans and four halvets. The furnace is on the south side. The cold room (warm room) and the halvets are covered with a dome, while the iwans are vaulted. The roof is made of brick. The building was once used as a warehouse and stable.
