Historical Şengül Bath
The building, which has no inscription, dates back to the second half of the 15th century. It was built by Sinan Bey, appointed by Anatolian Beylerbeyi İshak Pasha as his proxy, within the borders of today's İstiklal Neighborhood. In the foundation records, it is written that it was used to meet the expenses of an almshouse previously built by the pasha in İnegöl. In 1673, it is known that it was purchased and endowed to Zincirli Mosque by the order of Ankaravi Mehmed Emin Efendi, the sheikhulislam of the period.
