Şaar Aşamayim Synagogue
Shaar Ashamayim Synagogue is a synagogue on the European side of Istanbul. It is located in the Kemerburgaz neighborhood of Eyüpsultan district. It was built with permission from Eyüpsultan Municipality to meet the religious needs of the Jews living in the neighborhood. Shaar Aşamayim Synagogue is the first and only synagogue in Eyüpsultan district. Its name means Gate of the Heavens in Turkish. It is open for worship.
