Akkuş Sweet Beans
Grown in Akkuş district, 'Akkuş sweet beans', registered as a geographical indication by the Turkish Patent Institute, is in demand by consumers and food business operators. Beans, which are produced close to 500 tons per year, are packaged in the Akkuş Chamber of Agriculture facilities in the district and sold to markets and restaurants in the country.
