One of the natural symbols of Antalya is orange. The homeland of orange, a citrus fruit, is China. Orange is one of the most important agricultural products of Antalya province. Approximately 23 percent of Türkiye's orange production is carried out in Antalya. Among the orange species grown in Antalya province, Finike orange in particular has a world-renowned taste. "Finike Orange", which owes its unique taste to the rich minerals coming from the sea, came first in the world in a competition held in the USA. An orange is included in the emblem of the film festival, which has been held in Antalya for nearly fifty years, and it also became the name of the festival: "Golden Orange Film Festival".
