In Malatya cuisine, where bulgur is frequently used, banık meatballs are among the other favorite delicacies. Banik Kofte prepared by blending bulgur with beef or lamb is one of the dishes worth trying. Bulgur, which we often encounter in Malatya local cuisine, is dipped in tomato paste, basil and finely chopped onions and fried. Meatballs prepared as flat are prepared by cooking them in a pan in their own oil. Banik meatballs, which are satisfying due to the bulgur in its content, take on a delicious consistency with meat/minced meat, onions and spices.
