Bitlis Stuffed Meatballs

Onions are cleaned, washed and cut into cubes. It is left in the pan and after it is fried for a while, minced meat is added and frying is continued. Add the tomato paste, salt and chili pepper, mix and fry a little more. After the minced meat and onions are cooked, they are taken from the stove, basil and black pepper are added and mixed again. Set aside to cool. And the dough is prepared. Bulgur for meatballs is left in a large bowl, salt is added to it, and it is moistened with water and left for half an hour. When the desired dough is obtained, walnut-sized pieces are cut from the dough, the inside is opened and the mortar is left inside and closed. After it is finished, the cooking process begins. The water is boiled in the pot and the meatballs are dropped into the boiling water one by one. It is cooked for up to 10 minutes, left on the plates, oil is poured on it and served.
