Çığırtma
"Çığırtma", which contains all the features of Aegean cuisine, is one of the regional dishes of İzmir, which originated from Bergama cuisine and spread all over İzmir. It is prepared by mixing seasonal vegetables grown in the fertile soil of Bergama with tomato and garlic sauce after frying. It is said that it got its name from the sizzling sound it makes when the vegetables inside are fried.
