Çorti, one of the favorite flavors of Muş, is a kind of pickle made with cabbage and spices. Although it is called pickle, it is made without the use of vinegar. Spices are sprinkled on the cabbages and stuffed into a cube and it is expected to turn sour like pickles. Çorti, which is one of the delicacies that is made in Muş in summer and consumed in winter, will have a different flavor if it is made with cabbage grown in Muş. Çorti is cooked in the city in three different ways: for meatballs, for drinking and in a tandoori. The most preferred one is the meatballs made with bulgur, boiled with onions, basil and cabbage. A complete source of probiotics, chorti is a very tasty, satisfying and light meal that takes its flavor from spices. You should definitely try this flavor, which you cannot find in other cities, while visiting Muş.
