Diyarbakır Pastry with Mahaleb
Diyarbakir cuisine is not very rich in terms of pastry, but the famous mahalepli pastry is enough to fill this gap. The smell of this Diyarbakir-specific pastry, which is consumed especially for breakfast, starts to rise from the ovens of the city in the early hours of the morning.
