Erzurum Buttermilk Soup
Ingredients: Gendime (Weat), yoghurt, flour, ground meat, onion, chives, butter .
Preparation: One measure of gendime is cooked thoroughly. Yogurt is prepared by adding a little flour in another bowl and mixed with gendime and put on the fire. Stir until it boils. It is added to the meatballs prepared in the size of hazelnuts. Aş herb grown in Erzurum region is added. One head of onion is fried in another pan with butter until golden brown, poured over the soup and served hot.
