Galacos - Bayburt
Ingredients used: 250 gr green lentils, 200 gr. butter, ½ kg. minced meat, 1 onion (large), 2 spoons of tomato paste, 250 gr. Gurut (dried buttermilk strain) or yoghurt strain. Preparation: Lentils are cooked together with meat, onion, tomato paste and oil until the lentil juice is absorbed. On the other hand, gurut or yoghurt strainer is crushed with hot water until it reaches a watery consistency and heated to boiling point. Care is taken that it does not boil, if it boils, it turns into curd and is not used. This prepared melt is poured over the stale bread that has been cut into a plate beforehand. It is served by adding lentils with plenty of oil on it.
