Ingredients for Gasefe (Erzinca's Local Dessert) Recipe
Half a kilo of dried apricots (split)
2 spoonful butter
2 tablespoons of granulated sugar
1 glass of water
1 cup of walnuts
First of all, we soak our apricots in warm water to soften them a little, then we wash them well and put them in our pot. We put our apricots, granulated sugar and water in the pot, add our butter and cook over low heat until the water evaporates and the apricots change color. Then we put it on our serving plate, sprinkle walnuts on it and serve it hot.
