Hanım Göbeği Dessert
For sherbet, water and sugar are boiled. The bottom of the stove is turned down and lemon juice is added and boiled again. It is left to cool. Water and oil are poured into the pot and kept on low heat until the oil melts. Flour close to boiling is added and mixed with a wooden spoon and cooked for 5 minutes. The stove is turned off. When it cools down, eggs are added and mixed and rested for 20 minutes. Small pieces of dough are cut off and rounds with a hole in the middle are prepared by hand. Sunflower oil is heated in a pan. The prepared dough is fried in this oil and thrown into the cooled syrup. When the syrup is taken, it is served by sprinkling pistachios on top.
