Ipsala Rice
İpsala Rice is the most preferred type of rice on the tables. 60% of Turkey's rice production is provided from Meriç Delta and Ergene Plain; 90% of the rice production in Thrace is provided from Edirne. Rice, which is very important economically for Edirne, is also used abundantly in meals.
