Kağıt Kebab
Kağıt kebab, which is completely special to Hatay, is prepared with or without spicy. Kağıt kebab is made with special minced meat. Nerves are specially extracted. 72 kinds of spices are added to it. It is cooked on the sheet and served with lavash with sauce. In Hatay, which is one of the important places of gastronomy tourism with its numerous tastes from dishes to appetizers, which also includes the characteristics of Ottoman, French and Arabic cuisine, butchers are known as taste stops where not only meat is sold, but also unique tastes are offered. In addition to cutting and selling meat, butchers on almost every corner spend most of their time preparing trays and paper kebabs, which are obtained by finely chopping garlic and parsley along with various spices. Kağıt kebab, on which tomato paste sauce is poured and pepper and onion are added upon request, is cooked in stone ovens and served with hot pita bread.
