Kaymak Dessert

Dough Ingredients

1 cup sunflower oil

1 cup yogurt

1 tablespoon of vinegar 

2 tablespoons of butter 

1 teaspoon of baking soda

1 packet of margarine

2 eggs

1 tea glass of water

As much flour as needed

Preparation of the dough: Put the egg, sunflower oil, yogurt, water, vinegar and baking soda into a bowl and mix. Add flour into the mixture and knead the dough in the consistency of an earlobe. Divide the kneaded dough into 25 walnut sized 25 pieces and roll them out with a rolling pin with the help of starch. Place 25 of them on top of each other and roll them out to the size of the tray and place them on the tray, and prepare the other 25 meringues in the same way. Melt the margarine and pour it over the prepared trays and put them in the oven and bake until golden brown. After baking, remove them from the oven and let them cool down.

Stuffing Ingredients:

2 cups boiled rice 

2.5 kg hot milk

4 cups sugar

2 eggs

Preparation of the Filling: Put the boiled rice into a pot, add hot milk into it and boil it until it reaches the consistency of rice pudding. Add sugar into the boiling and thickened mixture and mix, then break the eggs into the mixture, mix and let it cool down.

Sherbet Ingredients:

4.5 cups sugar

3.5 cups water

Preparation of the Sherbet: Put the water and sugar in a pot and boil until it reaches its consistency. It is used after it cools down.

Preparation of the Dessert: On one of the 2 pieces of phyllo pastry in the tray we prepared in the oven, lay the prepared mortar material on one of the phyllo pastry in a way to cover our phyllo pastry and cover the other phyllo pastry on it. then cut it into baklava slices, add the syrup and serve.
