Keles Stew
It is made in Keles District, one of the districts called Mountain Region of Bursa, on the back of Uludağ. It is made in the casserole restaurants in the district, especially on the Friday when the district market is established, in the region where sheep and goat farming are common. The construction of Keles Güveci starts with the burning of the oven. Before lighting the oven, the stew master prays for fruitfulness. Traditionally high-heat oak and pine wood are burned in the casserole ovens.
