Lebeniye (Mehir) Soup

Water and rice are put in a pot and boiled. For the meatballs, the onions are chopped very finely. And all the meatball ingredients are thoroughly kneaded. It is shaped by small rolling. Sprinkle flour on them to prevent them from sticking together. Lightly floured meatballs are lightly sautéed in a pan in a little oil.

Sauteed meatballs are also added to the pot and boiled. After the meatballs are boiled, the yogurt, egg and flour mixture whisked in a separate place is warmed up and added to the pot by stirring rapidly. Boiled chickpeas and salt are added and boiled for another 5-6 minutes. Finally, heated butter and mint are poured on it and mixed.

If you want, you can move it over the bowls during the service, it will be a more elegant presentation.
