Lokma

Lokma is a dessert prepared with yeast dough and sweetened with sherbet. Izmir lokma is made with a hole in the middle (ring-shaped). The dough prepared with flour, yeast, salt and sugar is baked in the oven or fried in oil and served with thick sherbet.
